Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate (PA-C) to join our growing practice. The WHNP/PA-C will provide comprehensive care to women across the lifespan, including reproductive, gynecologic, prenatal and preventative health services in the outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about women’s health, values patient education, and thrives in a team-based setting.
Position Details:
Join a 2 provider OB/GYN practice, along with a team of support staff
Perform comprehensive health assessments, including pelvic exams and Pap smears
Diagnose and treat common gynecologic and reproductive health conditions
Provide family planning services, including contraceptive counseling and management
Manage prenatal and postpartum care
Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
Educate patients on preventive care, sexual health and wellness
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Qualifications:
Active NP or PA license in the state of Maine
Current certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Associate (WHNP-BC or PA-C)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in women’s health preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
