Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders swiftly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and special requests
- Support the serving team by providing excellent guest service, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special needs
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and maintaining hygiene protocols
- Assist with basic cooking or food prep tasks when required, contributing to overall restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety practices, and restaurant POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus
- Strong communication skills with an energetic attitude and a passion for guest service
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen support roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with hotel or culinary environments can enhance your ability to excel in this role
