Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: 95,000k - 101,000k annually (based on experience)
Palm Beach Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MDS Director (RN/LPN) to oversee the MDS process and ensure regulatory compliance while promoting exceptional resident-centered care. This leadership role is critical in supporting clinical excellence, care planning accuracy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant care for long-term care residents
Monitor accuracy and timeliness of MDS assessments and documentation
Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate with caregivers, families, and clinical specialists to optimize resident outcomes
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
Conduct in-service education related to MDS, RAPS, Triggers, PDPM, and Medicare requirements
Maintain strict adherence to MDS and care-planning schedules, including non-Medicare residents
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Licensure: Active Florida RN or LPN license in good standing
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an MDS Coordinator in a Skilled Nursing Facility
Knowledge Base: Strong working knowledge of MDS, PDPM, Medicare guidelines, and care-planning processes
Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
