Grooming Assistant/Professional Bather

Our upscale pet salon is looking for a skilled, dependable, and compassionate Grooming Assistant or Professional Bather who takes pride in providing exceptional care and outstanding service.
Our furry guests are treated like family, and we're seeking team members who take pride in creating a clean, safe, enriching, and low-stress environment where every pet receives individualized attention.
What You'll Do
- Bathe dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments using premium shampoos and conditioners.
- Perform thorough brush-outs and de-shedding treatments.
- Safely dry and prepare pets for grooming appointments.
- Trim nails, clean ears, brush teeth, and perform other basic spa services.
- Monitor each pet's comfort, behavior, and health, reporting any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized bathing area.
- Handle pets with patience, confidence, and kindness while minimizing stress.
- Work closely with groomers to ensure every pet leaves looking and feeling their best.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We're looking for someone who:
- Previous professional bathing or grooming experience preferred.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing and active throughout the day.
- Genuine love for animals and dedication to their safety and well-being.
- Is dependable, punctual, and understands the importance of consistency in animal care.
- Has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
- Is available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Is free from dog and cat allergens.
- Must be at least 18 years old

Schedule and Pay
- Part-time, 25 hours per week on average
- Standard shift is Tuesday-Saturday 1:00pm-6:30pm (shift can vary due to scheduling needs)
- Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed
- Pay: $17 per hour and up depending on experience, plus tips
