Our flagship Fairview Heights Location is looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Crew Member to join our team.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends showroom sales, customer service, daily operations, and physical labor. If you enjoy a job where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales: Welcoming guests with a friendly attitude, assisting them on the showroom floor, and processing sales. (Once trained, you will have direct opportunities to earn commission and bonuses!)
- Showroom & Facilities Maintenance: Keeping our showroom floor in pristine, retail-ready condition through daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and organizing.
- Physical Operations: Unloading, assembling, moving, and arranging heavy furniture displays. You will also assist customers with safely loading purchases into their vehicles.
- Outdoor & Elements Work: Assisting with incoming shipments and managing our U-Haul rental fleet. This requires working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Office & Paperwork: Handling basic administrative tasks, checking U-Haul equipment in/out, processing transactions, and managing customer paperwork on our computer systems.
- Deliveries (Extra Earning Potential): Assisting with local furniture deliveries, offering an excellent opportunity to put extra cash in your pocket.
Qualifications:
- Be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Work on their feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
- Be a fast worker, capable of keeping organized.
- Have a valid driver’s license.

- Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture (typically alongside a teammate).
- Adaptability: Comfortable working both indoors on the showroom floor and outdoors in the elements.
- Detail-Oriented: Willing to handle basic administrative paperwork and keep the store looking spotless.
- Tech-Literate: Comfortable navigating basic computer systems and digital POS software.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, a collaborative team spirit, and punctuality.
