Your Role as a Home Health Aide (HHA)
Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.) in clients’ homes
Assist with mobility, transfers, and medication reminders
Monitor vital signs and report any changes to clinical staff
Offer companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily routines
Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain a safe environment at all times
Requirements
Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in New York State
Reliable transportation to travel between client homes
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Fluent in English (bilingual a plus)
Completion of a NYS Department of Health–approved HHA training program or equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
Basic literacy and arithmetic skills
Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
