Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on delivering high-quality treatment in a comfortable environment. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide optimal patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental clinic or office setting is essential.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and medical terminology is required.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry is necessary for effective patient assessment and treatment.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
