Part/Full-time kennel attendant:

Boarding/daycare/training facility in need of an experienced part-time Kennel Attendant (with available full time hours during peak seasons). We are a small team of reliable animal lovers, and welcome all employees to bring their dogs to work with them at no charge!
We are currently hiring for a part/full-time position (25-40 hrs per week depending on time of year: scheduled between the hours of 7am-6pm 7 days a week). Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends and holidays (holidays are paid at time and a half) year-round. Please do not submit an application if you do not have holiday availability as well as open availability from 7am-6pm Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues at minimum. Additional schedule availability/flexibility is a plus and an interest in learning to train dogs is also a plus! Any application that reflects scheduling limitations Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues will be discarded.
Job duties include:
-Cleaning indoor/outdoor dog runs
-Feeding, medicating dogs
-Bathing, brushing, nail trims
-Sweeping, cleaning and mopping of kennel buildings and work areas
-Supervising group play times
Must be 18 or older, able to lift 50lbs independently, stand for extended periods of time, and work indoors and outdoors including in inclement weather. We work outdoors year-round, so candidates should be physically capable of tolerating both hot and cold weather for extended periods. Must be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes and working in a loud setting with barking dogs. We are responsible for keeping yards and boarding areas sanitary so applicants must be comfortable with contact with all types of dog food (including raw foods) and waste. The right candidate will also be punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and work independently.

Hourly Pay: Starting at $18.50 per hour depending on experience.
