The Dual‑Property General Manager oversees all operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team leadership for two Marriott‑brand hotels. This role ensures both properties run at full brand standard, deliver consistent guest experiences, and meet all financial and operational goals. The GM leads department teams across both hotels and partners closely with ownership and corporate leadership.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership — Manage daily hotel operations across both properties, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B.
- Brand Compliance — Ensure both hotels meet all Marriott standards, including BSA, MI Health Check, GXP, and audit requirements.
- Team Management — Recruit, train, coach, and develop department leaders and hourly associates.
- Financial Oversight — Create and manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure accurate COA coding.
- Revenue Strategy — Partner with Revenue Management to optimize ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and channel mix.
- Guest Satisfaction — Monitor and improve GSS scores, lead service recovery, and ensure timely GXP follow‑up.

Qualifications
- Hotel Management Experience -3–5+ years of hotel leadership; dual‑property or multi‑unit experience preferred.
- Marriott Systems Knowledge - Experience with MARSHA, OneYield, GXP, MESH, and ServiceNow.
- Cross‑Property Coordination - Implement consistent SOPs and communication across both hotels.
- Sales Collaboration - Support sales efforts to grow market share and local business.
- Owner Relations - Provide regular updates on financials, operations, and strategic priorities.
- Safety & Compliance - Maintain safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
- Financial Acumen - Strong budgeting, forecasting, and labor management skills.
- Leadership Skills - Ability to coach teams, manage performance, and drive accountability.
- Operational Expertise - Strong understanding of Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B operations.
- Makes decisions on a timely basis - Understands when and how to involve others in decision making.
Work Expectations
- Full‑time leadership presence — Standard schedule is 40–50 hours per week across both properties.
- Weekend coverage — Required availability to cover or support operations on weekends as needed, with flexibility for business needs.
- Holiday availability — Expected to be available on major holidays in rotation or as business demands.
- Morning coverage — Ability to provide morning leadership coverage when needed, including breakfast service oversight.
- Emergency response — Must be reachable for urgent operational issues, property incidents, or staffing gaps.
