Summary:
The Fine Dining Server provides outstanding guest service by serving food and beverages to restaurant guests, pre-setting the restaurant, maintaining side workstations, clearing tables during and after each meal, and properly storing equipment at the end of each shift. They will also courteously handle all guest requests based on Company Standards to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by warmly greeting, welcoming, and seating guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring guest preferences and special requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and promotions to confidently make recommendations and enhance the guest dining experience.
- Identify opportunities to upsell menu items, beverages, desserts, and specialty offerings to maximize revenue while providing personalized service.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to requests, concerns, and inquiries to ensure a positive and memorable dining experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment by clearing, resetting, and preparing tables efficiently throughout service.
- Collaborate closely with team members and other departments to ensure seamless restaurant operations and exceptional service delivery.
- Support restaurant opening and closing procedures, including dining room setup, stocking service stations, cleaning assigned areas, and completing operational checklists.
- Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of fine dining server experience required.
- Strong attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
