International golf car manufacturing company is now seeking an experienced Mechanic for their electrical golf cars. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in the golf cars.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical golf cars.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system modifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify faults within electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical golf cars to prevent failures.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and quality repairs on equipment.
- Document work performed through detailed reports and update electrical schematics as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant safety standards and local regulations governing electrical installations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Electrical systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electric golf cars.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints related to electrical systems.
- Ability to operate hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers along with power tools safely.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures including lockout/tagout practices to prevent accidents.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform detailed diagnostics under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members across diverse projects.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
