Job Overview
A small, collaborative private practice is seeking a fully licensed mental health therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, and committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse client population. Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
- Current and active Oregon license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist). Associates are not eligible for this position.
- Ability to independently provide therapy services to individuals, families, and/or couples.
- Demonstrated experience with evidence-based treatment approaches, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, or similar modalities.
- Comfortable and competent working with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of presenting issues.
- Ability to manage and maintain a clinical caseload and meet the practice’s minimum weekly client hours requirement.
- Willingness to provide in-person sessions for a portion of the caseload (hybrid work available where appropriate).
Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic services.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards.
- Coordinate care with other providers when appropriate.
- Provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and ethical clinical services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in private practice settings.
- Specialized training or certification in areas such as trauma, EMDR, play therapy, family systems, or other relevant specialties.
- Strong skills in rapport building, clinical judgment, and self-management.
