The Position: Crew Lead

Starting Pay Range: $22.00 – $23.50 per hour
Your Mission: "I Own the Result."
In this position, we expect you to take total responsibility for the outcome. You aren't just a driver; you are the guardian of our quality.
- The Standard: You ensure every lawn is beautiful and meets our high standards before you leave the property. You don't make excuses; you find solutions.
- The Asset: You are fully responsible for the yards you mow, the truck, the trailer, and the equipment. You Steward Our Resources by ensuring nothing is lost, broken, or abused.
- Leadership Development: While training is not your primary role, you may occasionally be paired with a new hire to test your leadership skills and assist in training. This is your opportunity to prove you are ready for the next level.
- The Autonomy: You run the route independently (or with a partner). We trust you to meet our standards of service.
Your Future: Senior Crew Lead
The Promotion Target
Pay Range: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
Your Goal: "I Build the Company."
Once you have mastered the route, your goal is to promote to Senior Crew Lead to unlock our top pay bracket. This role has one distinct requirement: You must be a Trainer.
- The Designated Trainer (Non-Negotiable): To hold this title, you must be willing and able to train new hires. You take rookies under your wing and turn them into professionals. If you are unwilling to train, cannot effectively teach others, or are not efficient in working with new trainees, you cannot hold this position.
- The Strategist (Continuous Improvement): You are our eyes and ears in the field. We rely on you to actively provide feedback on how we can improve our routes, equipment setups, and workflows. You help us Master Excellence by spotting inefficiencies that others miss.
- The Culture Carrier: You set the pace and the tone for the entire team. You model our values of "Win Together" and "Own It" every single day.
The Path: Paid Training & Skills Mastery
We invest in you from Day 1 because we believe in Stewarding Our Resources—and our most valuable resource is our team.
The First 2 Weeks:
You will enter our Paid Training Program. We will teach you how to drive the truck, back the trailer, and Master Excellence in our mowing patterns.
The Outcome:
- Success: Prove you can lead the route, maintain our standards while maintaining yards and care for the equipment, and you are confirmed as a Crew Lead ($22.00+).
- The Safety Net: If you have a great attitude but aren't quite ready to carry the responsibility of the "Final Result" or the equipment yet, we may offer you a position as a Lawn Care Technician to continue building your skills.
- Technician Pay: Capped at $19.00/hr.
- Technician Role: Execution focus (mowing/trimming).
- Note: This transition is subject to position availability.
