We are seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to work at our properties in Kalamazoo and Bangor Michigan. The ideal candidate will split their time between the 2 properties. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have relevant work experience and solid technical knowledge.
Duties to Include:
– Maintenance of buildings & units
– Light painting, landscaping, and turnover of units when tenants vacate
– Plumbing, electrical repairs, appliance repair, and HVAC
– Snow removal from walkways, some light cleaning and picking up grounds
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. Experience in apartment maintenance preferred, but not required. Must have excellent customer service skills, be a team player, self-motivator and have their own tools.
