Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team at our EASTLAKE location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety. This role involves preparing dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent food presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Use knife skills effectively for food preparation tasks
- Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving
- Maintain a professional attitude and work efficiently under pressure
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurant or food service environments
- Knowledge of menu planning, fine dining standards, and food industry best practices
- Strong skills in food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Prior restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in serving guests efficiently
