Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators.
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions, ensuring efficient water use.
- Perform general lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks including trimming, edging, and planting to support overall site aesthetics.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete landscaping projects and system repairs.
- Support construction activities related to landscape projects by digging trenches, setting fixtures, or assisting with site preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools to promote safety and efficiency on the job site.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with landscaping equipment is preferred.
- Experience working with irrigation systems or in landscape maintenance is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of lawn care, horticulture principles, or landscaping practices is advantageous.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators safely.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is necessary.
- Prior experience in construction or groundskeeping is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for all technical skills.
