Position: Motor Mechanics - 3+ years of experience
Pay: $25-$30/hr depending on experience
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on industrial electric motors and rotating equipment
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble motors, pumps, gearboxes, and generators
- Perform bearing replacements, rewinds, shaft repairs, balancing, and alignment
- Conduct electrical testing including megger, surge, resistance, and continuity testing
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Operate shop equipment including presses, lathes, hoists, and testing equipment safely
- Maintain accurate repair records and inspection documentation
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company procedures
- Assist with field service repairs and installations as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
