Society Hill Pediatrics is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Certified Medical Assistant to join our busy pediatric primary care practice in Center City Philadelphia. We are looking for a team player who enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pediatric patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support, ensuring a seamless experience for young patients and their families. Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits.
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws.
- Administer routine childhood immunizations
- Document accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, administering medications, and assisting with procedures specific to pediatric care.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and offering reassurance to young patients and their families.
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
Qualifications
Required:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric medical assistant experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using EMR systems
- Minimum of 2years of experience obtaining vital signs
- Experence performing blood draws (venipuncture)
- Experience administering routine childhood immunizations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced pediatric practice
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
