We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Collections Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our clients receive accurate and timely reimbursement by managing insurance follow-up, resolving denials, and identifying opportunities to optimize collections performance.
- Manage insurance follow-up for assigned inpatient and outpatient accounts

Investigate and resolve denials and underpayments through payer outreach and appeal submissions

Review remittance advice (RA) and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to ensure proper reimbursement

Verify billing accuracy for both electronic and paper claims submissions

Document all account activity thoroughly and accurately for effective follow-up

Analyze trends in denials and collections to recommend process improvements

Collaborate with internal teams to meet monthly collection goals

Identify, escalate, and help resolve claim issues or patterns impacting reimbursement

Maintain accurate and timely processing of all incoming documentation (payer correspondence, medical records, etc.)

Support overall team operations, including backup coverage as needed
- 3+ years of experience in medical or healthcare collections

Strong understanding of medical terminology and revenue cycle processes

Experience working with appeals, denials, and payer follow-up

Familiarity with Epic, UB-04, and CMS 1500 forms

Ability to interpret payer contracts (e.g., stop loss, per diem, case rates, carve-outs)

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
