What You Will Do
- Meet with homeowners for in-home HVAC sales appointments
- Present heating and air conditioning system solutions based on homeowner needs
- Build trust and credibility with customers
- Recommend system replacements, upgrades, and comfort solutions
- Follow up on leads and unsold estimates
- Help improve close rates, average tickets, and customer experience
- Work directly with the owner on ideas to help grow the company
- Represent Green Air Concepts professionally in the home and in the field
- Prospect and generate new business through outside sales efforts, including cold calling, door-to-door outreach, and community networking.
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical presentations to educate clients on HVAC systems, upgrades, and energy-saving solutions.
- Manage a designated territory by identifying potential customers, nurturing existing accounts, and expanding market reach through strategic business development activities.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, offering tailored solutions, and upselling additional products or services when appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven in-home residential HVAC sales experience
- Strong ability to build rapport and close ethically
- Experience selling furnaces, AC, heat pumps, and complete system replacements
- Professional appearance and communication
- Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities and customer data.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability in cold calling, inside sales, retail sales, and direct sales strategies to develop new business opportunities.
- Strong analysis skills for assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Effective communication skills for product demos, presentations, and building rapport with clients across diverse backgrounds.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for business development, marketing initiatives, and expanding territory sales.
