A leading OEM manufacturer of packaging machinery is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead and rebuild its mechanical engineering team.
This is a working manager role with direct responsibility for people leadership, machine design, execution, and customer-facing technical support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead, develop, and rebuild a mechanical engineering team
- Remain hands-on with machine design and technical problem solving
- Analyze failures using FEA, FMEA, and root cause methodologies
- Review competitor OEM designs and suggest improvements
- Establish and track engineering KPIs
- Manage budgets, warranty exposure, and design change impact
- Support customer installs and escalations
- Present confidently to customers and leadership
Compensation
- Salary range: $140k–$180k
- Bonus eligible, tied to EBITDA performance
- Relocation support available
