Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavioral interventions for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other licensed clinician.
- Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and dressing, promoting independence.
- Use behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Support teaching sessions that develop communication skills, social interactions, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, progress notes, and behavior records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure consistency across environments and maximize client success.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Excellent data collection skills to track behavioral changes effectively.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with patience and understanding.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt strategies as needed.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance for confidentiality.
- Effective teaching abilities combined with excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and team members. Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
