Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a partner in our fast-paced real estate tax certiorari group. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, handle office tasks, and assist with daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate schedules and appointments
- Perform general office duties such as filing, answering phones, and responding to emails
- Complete other administrative tasks as needed
- Handle client inquiries and forward calls appropriately
- Provide personal assistant support to attorneys
- Utilize computer skills to input data, create reports, and manage documents- Type correspondence, reports, and other documents accurately
- Assist with preparation of documents, mailings and filings during busy seasons
- Significant, mandatory overtime required during January - March
Skills:
- Proven experience in administrative roles or similar positions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
- Team player; self-starter
