Small Immigration Law firm in Fairfax, Virginia is seeking a temporary bilingual paralegal to join a Full-Time position. The duration will be at least 6 months. The firm’s main practice areas include removal defense, asylum, family immigration and waivers.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide support for attorneys in every aspect of case development.
- Draft motions and filings, translate documents in Spanish and provide interpretation.
- Prepare documents for immigration court hearings.
- Utilize online case management tools to track and record case status.
- Handle multiple phone lines, conduct client intake interviews and manage client correspondence.
Qualifications and Skills
- Spanish (required)
- Immigration law: 2 year (preferred)
- High school or equivalent (required)
