Skilled Laborer – Residential Remodeling

J. Francis Company is Pittsburgh’s oldest and largest residential design-build firm, specializing in high-quality home renovations and additions. We’re looking for a Skilled Laborer to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position with year-round work, competitive benefits, and built-in opportunities for training and advancement.
What You’ll Do
- Assist carpenters and other trades with job site tasks
- Procure, pick up, and deliver materials to job sites
- Accept deliveries and maintain the shop, tools, truck fleet, and company property
- Carry out general labor, material handling, and site cleanup under the direction of the Lead Carpenter
- Support day-to-day progress on active projects and help keep sites safe and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Residential construction experience required
- Reliable vehicle, valid PA driver’s license, and clean driving record
- Physically able to lift 100 pounds and perform labor-intensive tasks consistently
- Basic understanding of carpentry and hand tools is a plus
- Punctual, dependable, and able to follow directions
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check
- A mature, team-oriented work ethic
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime opportunities may be available
