We are a mobile pet groomer. we drive a truck and trailer and travel to our clients homes to perform our grooming services. Your expertise will help build lasting relationships with pet owners and contribute to a welcoming, caring environment for our furry friends.
Responsibilities
- Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, and nail trimming to meet individual breed standards and owner preferences.
- Handle animals safely and gently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming sessions.
- Assess each pet’s coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments or pet care routines.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests, provide advice on pet coat maintenance, and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly.
- Assist with animal handling tasks such as dog training, veterinary-related procedures, or other animal care activities as needed.
- Support the overall well-being of pets by recognizing signs of distress or health issues and referring them to veterinary professionals when necessary.
- Lift heavy equipment or pets safely during grooming procedures to prevent injury.
- We are looking for an experienced groomer to over see and to help build our company into a W-2/1099 position
Skills
- Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming.
- Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage animals of various temperaments safely.
- Knowledge of veterinary experience, veterinary technician experience, or veterinary assistant experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with animal handling techniques across different species such as dogs, cats, and equines (horses).
- Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and maintain physical stamina throughout the workday.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a genuine love for animals and their well-being.
- Self motivated and interested in a long term family business relationship.

Pay: $28.16 - $33.91 per hour
