Job Overview
A Center Support Staff will be responsible for providing assistance and support across various classroom and center functions. Will ensure continuity of care and eduation for children while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Will work to ensure that all aspects of the program meet or exceed all requirements set forth in funding agency(s) regulations, other requirements as set forth by the governing agency and follows all established policies and procedures.
Duties
- Serve as a floater in classrooms on an as needed basis.
- Carries out tasks as required while in a classroom setting.
- Serves as a model for children, parents, staff and community people.
- Assists with cleanliness/maintenance of facilities/equipment, thereby ensuring a safe, healthy learning environment.
- Assists with administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the Center Director.
- Works cooperatively with Center Director and all other staff members.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to the agency technology policy.
Skills
- Ability to use correct grammar, verbally & written, in communicating with adults as well as young children.
- Ability to accept supervision and to follow directions with minimum instructions.
- Ability to be tolerant and flexible.
- Ability to read and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing work environments.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.50 per hour
