As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and driven Recruiter to join our Human Resources team and help attract top talent to support our continued success.
Position Overview
The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, helping attract, identify, and hire top talent across multiple locations. This role requires strong recruiting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting hiring initiatives company-wide.
The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has at least two (2) years of recruiting experience, is willing to travel as needed for hiring events and store visits, and is passionate about finding and developing talent.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates through job boards, social media platforms, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Conduct reference checks and background screening processes.
- Manage multiple open positions simultaneously while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Track recruiting metrics and provide hiring updates to management.
Community Outreach & Events
- Attend job fairs, hiring events, career expos, and networking opportunities.
- Represent Spacetel LLC as an employer of choice within the communities we serve.
- Develop partnerships with schools, workforce development programs, and community organizations.
Onboarding Support
- Assist with new hire onboarding processes and documentation.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding schedules.
- Ensure all hiring and onboarding documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, enhance the new hire experience, and increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Willingness to travel throughout California, Arizona, and Oregon for recruiting events, store visits, and hiring initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion..
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in retail, wireless, telecommunications, or other multi-location, high-volume environments is highly preferred and considered a strong asset.
- Experience with Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other recruiting platforms.
- Knowledge of onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
