E & E Capital Management is looking for an energetic, people-first Leasing Agent to join our team at a multifamily apartment community in Birmingham. If you enjoy connecting with people, take pride in your work, and want to grow with a company that invests in its team, this could be your next move.
As our Leasing Agent, you'll be the welcoming face of the community—helping prospective residents find their next home while keeping our property full and thriving.
What You'll Do
- Welcome prospective residents and lead engaging tours of the community and available units
- Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Guide applicants through the full leasing cycle, from application and screening to lease signing
- Maintain accurate leasing records and stay compliant with company policies and Fair Housing regulations
- Follow up with prospects to build and maintain a strong leasing pipeline
- Support resident retention and lease renewals
- Contribute to marketing through online listings and community outreach
- Partner with maintenance and management to ensure units are move-in ready
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus)
- 1–2 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience (multifamily preferred)
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills, with a sales-minded, goal-oriented approach
- Organization, attention to detail, and a knack for solving problems and defusing tension
- Comfort with Microsoft Office (property management software a plus)
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and leasing practices (preferred)
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
