CNC Mill Operator - Erie, PA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Position Overview: Infinity Resources is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator for a growing precision machining company in Erie PA. We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of CNC milling experience who are committed to producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Upload and download CNC programs from machine controls.
- Edit machine programs as needed to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Machine parts to require tolerances and quality standards.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Complete inspection logs, travelers, and production documentation accurately.
- Remove burrs and sharp edges from finished parts as required.
- Maintain tooling inventory at assigned machine.
- Assist with routine machine maintenance as directed.
- Help train new machine operators when needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
- Handle materials and move parts when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Attend team meetings and communicate quality or production concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC milling experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Other precision gauges
- Basic math skills, including working with:
- Fractions
- Decimals
- Measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating 5-Axis CNC Milling Machines.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Previous experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Occasionally reach overhead.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work around moving machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes.
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- Overtime available as needed
