Site Supervisor — Facility Operations
Company: Monarch Facility Solutions Location: Houston, TX — on-site at a professional sports organization's facility (the Houston Texans) Job Type: Permanent, long-term · Full-time hours Compensation: $4,000 per month (Paid bi-Monthly)
About the Role
Monarch Facility Solutions is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead our on-site team at a professional sports facility in Houston. This is a permanent, long-term position for an independent subcontractor.
The demand of the work rises and falls with the season, while our expectations for quality and professionalism stay the same year-round. Prior cleaning experience is not required — most tasks can be taught quickly, and training is provided. We are looking for someone with management or supervisor experience.
What matters most is leadership: a strong, positive personality who works well with others, manages time exceptionally well, and can coordinate a team around a daily schedule. While leadership comes first, this is also a hands-on role — the supervisor works alongside the team and takes part in the day-to-day tasks, not only oversees them.
Weekly Schedule
The schedule below is a reference and a baseline for our expectations, not a fixed clock-in / clock-out position. Each day is built around roughly eight hours, and the focus is on getting the job done rather than hitting an exact time on the clock.
DayGeneral HoursMeal BreakSundayApproximately 8 hours — day or evening; start time is not setNone providedMonday7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM (depends on the Sunday shift)30 minutes (lunch provided)Tuesday–FridayApproximately 7:30 AM–4:00 PM30 minutes (lunch provided)
How the schedule works:
- Arrival times should be consistent.
- End times shown are approximate. Departure may run shorter or longer as the day requires — each day is built around roughly eight hours and ends when the work is complete.
- Sunday runs about eight hours with no set start time and may fall during the day or the evening, depending on the week.
- Monday follows from the Sunday shift:
- After a Sunday day shift, Monday runs the regular 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
- After a Sunday night shift, Monday runs about 9:30 AM–6:00 PM.
- Times are not exact this is just for reference but the job usually takes on average 8 hours per day.
Meals: Lunch is provided for the supervisor and the staff Monday through Friday. Lunch is not provided on Sundays.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and coordinate the on-site team, setting the tone for professionalism and teamwork each day.
- Supervise the porter team — typically around three porters, scaling up or down as demand changes with the season — keeping them on task and accountable.
- Work hands-on alongside the crew as needed. This role combines supervision with direct, hands-on work and is not strictly supervisory.
- Fill in and personally perform a porter's duties whenever someone is absent or calls out, covering that position directly so the work still gets done.
- On Sundays, oversee the porter crew for the assigned shift, whether it falls during the day or the evening.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Review the daily schedule and plan the full week in advance, using the team's schedule (received from Monarch ahead of time) to position the crew correctly each day.
- Keep everyone in the right place at the right time. Certain areas are restricted while players are present, and the same applies during meetings. The crew works quietly in the background, behind the client's staff and players.
Site Readiness & Inventory
- Make sure the site is fully ready for the week: supplies restocked, storage organized, and all laundry completed.
- Conduct a weekly inventory of supplies and consumables, and relay the items that need to be ordered to the manager once per week.
- Meet with the manager on-site at the facility to receive materials and supplies.
- Receive consumable shipments: coordinate with the warehouse contact, verify every item against the consumable delivery list, confirm the order is complete, and store items properly.
Communication
- Clear communication is essential to Monarch and to the client. Anything the client shares with the supervisor must be relayed to Monarch promptly, so everyone stays on the same page and nothing is missed.
- Whatever is discussed must be handled and then communicated to all parties involved, so no one is left in the dark.
What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership with a positive, approachable personality and the ability to work well with others.
- Excellent time management and the ability to coordinate a team around a daily schedule.
- Willingness to work hands-on alongside the team and step into a porter's duties when needed — not only supervise.
- Fluent in English for clear, professional client communication.
- Reliable, organized, and dependable.
- No prior cleaning experience required — training is provided.
What We Provide
- Lunch for the supervisor and staff, Monday through Friday.
- Training — no prior cleaning experience necessary.
- All materials and supplies, delivered on-site by the manager.
Compensation & Engagement
- $4,000 per month.
- This is a permanent, independent subcontractor (1099) position. It is not an employee position.
Important Notes
- Discretion is required. This role is performed inside a private professional facility; the crew works quietly in the background and respects all restricted areas and confidential information.
- This is a general overview of the position. All details are subject to change and will be finalized upon hiring.
