- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving equipment or furniture.
- Expertise in floor care techniques
- Experience with industrial cleaning tools and supplies for thorough sanitation.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of the entire restaurant, including the dining room, kitchen, bar area, restrooms, entryways, and other customer and employee spaces to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment.
- Sweep and mop all restaurant floors daily, with special attention to the kitchen, dining area, bar, and high-traffic walkways to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all restrooms each day, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, fixtures, and floors, completing a full mopping of restroom areas during each shift.
- Clean and maintain all entryways, vestibules, and lobby areas, ensuring floors are swept, mopped, and free of dirt, debris, and safety hazards.
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment and tools effectively to complete routine and deep-cleaning tasks.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the restaurant, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste and recycling materials.
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed and notify management when inventory is low or maintenance issues are identified.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects, including floor scrubbing, baseboards, kitchen equipment exteriors, and other assigned cleaning tasks.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical handling, and waste disposal.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment for guests and employees while adhering to all restaurant sanitation and health regulations
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
