Description:
Perimeter Security Partners (“PSP”) is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to support the accurate and timely processing of the company’s weekly and semi-monthly payrolls and related documentation. The HR Coordinator is also responsible for supporting the Director of Human Resources with other HR department functions like expense report processing, new hire onboarding, and benefits administration. This role reports directly to the Director of Human Resources while interacting with Accounting and other departments throughout the company in a collaborative work environment.
Duties:

Assist with processing the company’s weekly payroll by:
-
Reviewing timesheets for accuracy
-
Confirming timesheets include all necessary information
-
Resolve timesheet warnings for overlapping time, excess overtime, or time off hours overlapping with hours worked

Validate pay rates and per diem for accuracy
-
Assist with processing the company’s semi-monthly payroll by obtaining job information to allocate time properly and entering any employee expense recoups.

Assist with the development of certified payroll reports.

Assist with the review of employee credit card expense data for personal charges.

Track and validate sick time, vacation time, and paid-time-off balances.

Manage company uniform inventory levels, coordinate ordering and replenishment, maintain accurate records of issued uniforms.

Support the administration and oversight of the company fleet, including vehicle registrations, inspections, recalls, toll accounts, toll violations, EZ-Pass administration, and maintenance requests and authorized driver list.

Serve as a subject matter expert for Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) matters, providing guidance to employees and managers, coordinating required documentation, tracking leave status, and ensuring compliance with applicable federal and company requirements.

Serve as a subject matter expert for the company’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), assisting with system-related questions and troubleshooting. Provide training and ongoing support to employees and managers to promote effective and consistent use of the system.

Assist with the administration and maintenance of Certificates of Insurance (COIs), including coordinating requests, tracking expiration dates, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Coordinate and administer the company’s Common Access Card (CAC) program, including employee enrollment, documentation, card status tracking, renewals, and coordination with applicable government or customer requirements.

Assist with maintaining a professional, organized, and meeting-ready office environment. Coordinate preparation of conference rooms and common areas for meetings, visitors, candidates, customers, and company events, ensuring the office consistently presents a professional image.

Provide general HR and administrative support as needed, assisting with employee records, compliance activities, internal processes, and special projects to support the effective operation of the organization.
Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, human resources, accounting, or a similar role is required.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional work environment is required.

Ability to understand and apply payroll laws and regulations is required.

Strong proven MS Excel skills are required with intermediate proficiency with other MS Office applications.

Experience with the application of Federal wage rate requirements to include Service Contract Act and Davis-Bacon Act is highly desired.

Excellent mathematical and organizational skills are required.

Integrity, reliability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality is required.

Must possess strong interpersonal skills, including professional written and verbal communication.

Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test that will permit access to military installations are similar controlled areas.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit at a computer workstation for several hours at a time.

Duties are performed in PSP’s Brentwood, TN office

Core office hours are 8:30am- 5:30pm.
