We are seeking Level I Radiography Assistants to support certified Level II Technicians in
performing radiographic inspections (RT). This entry-level role is ideal for individuals
beginning a career in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), with a focus on learning radiographic
techniques, safety standards, and field operations.
- Entry-level candidates pursuing a career in NDT
- Interest in Radiographic Testing (RT) and field inspection work
- Ability to support X-ray truck operations and inspection activities
- Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments
- Assist Level II Technicians in performing RT inspections using X-ray equipment
Support setup, operation, and breakdown of radiographic equipment
- Maintain controlled areas and assist with radiation safety procedures
- Handle tools, materials, and film/digital imaging equipment as directed
- Assist with basic documentation and data collection
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Travel to regional and national job sites as required
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper storage and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong commitment to safety and willingness to learn radiation safety practices
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, standing, outdoor
conditions)
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Current or previous Radiation Safety (RAD Safety) training
- State Trainee Card or ability to obtain one
- Previous experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments
- Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools and equipment
