Patient Care Assistant / Physical Therapy Aide (Experienced)
Carmel Valley / Del Mar, CA | Part-Time to Full-Time | In-Clinic | Weekends Off
Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour (top of range for candidates with relevant healthcare, fitness, or patient-care experience)

We are seeking a dependable, experienced Patient Care Assistant / PT Aide who takes pride in their work, communicates well with patients of all ages, and can operate independently in a professional clinical setting.

- Has 2+ years of experience in healthcare, fitness, wellness, hospitality, or another customer-facing field (PT aide, medical assistant, massage, personal training, or front-office experience is a plus)

What You'll Do
Patient Care & Support
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises prescribed by our physical therapists
- Educate patients on proper movement, posture, and post-treatment care
- Support therapists during treatments (heat, ice, taping, equipment setup)
- Build trusted, professional relationships with our patients
Clinic Operations
- Prepare and turn over treatment rooms between patients
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional clinic environment
- Welcome patients and manage smooth patient flow
- Assist with scheduling, payments, and administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times
Schedule, Pay & Path to Full-Time
- Consistent weekday schedule — clinic is closed on weekends
- Starts at approximately 20–25 hours per week with a stable, predictable schedule
- Clear path to full-time, typically within 90–120 days based on performance and fit

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus (health, exercise science, kinesiology, or related fields)
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare, fitness, wellness, or customer-facing roles strongly preferred
- Weekday availability required
- COVID-19 vaccination preferred
