American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg Ortho experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Med/Surg Orthopedics unit in a regional hospital setting

Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)

Epic EMR used for charting

Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Active MT or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics RN experience required

Current AHA BLS certification required; must not expire prior to start date

ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
-
Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
-
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care plans for assigned patients
-
Performs health teaching, counseling, and coordinates referrals for further evaluation or treatment

Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
-
Candidates who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
