About I Do Nanny
I Do Nanny is a wedding childcare service providing safe, professional, and fun on-site childcare for children attending weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and other special events.
Our goal is simple: allow parents to enjoy the celebration while knowing their children are being safely cared for and entertained nearby.
We are building a reliable team of childcare professionals who love working with children and enjoy the excitement of weddings and special events.
Responsibilities
As an I Do Nanny Wedding Childcare Provider, you will:
- Supervise children during weddings and special events
- Keep children safe and accounted for at all times
- Lead games, crafts, coloring, movies, and age-appropriate activities
- Assist children during meals and snack times
- Help care for infants and toddlers when assigned
- Assist with diaper changes when required
- Comfort children who become upset or need their parents
- Maintain a clean and organized children’s area
- Follow parent instructions regarding allergies and special needs
- Follow our child check-in/check-out procedures
- Communicate professionally with parents, wedding planners, venue staff, and other caregivers
- Help set up and clean up the children’s activity area
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have reliable transportation
- Be dependable and punctual
- Enjoy working with children
- Be comfortable working around children of different ages
- Be available for evening and weekend events
- Pass a background check
- Be willing to become CPR/First Aid certified if not already certified
Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, daycare worker, preschool teacher, teacher’s assistant, camp counselor, nursing/education student, or childcare provider is strongly preferred.
Pay
Starting pay is $18-$22 per hour, depending on childcare experience, certifications, and responsibilities.
Opportunities for increased pay and Lead Wedding Nanny positions will be available for dependable team members.
Events will generally range from approximately 4–8 hours.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible weekend income rather than a traditional full-time childcare schedule.
