American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ED experience.

Work in a 55-bed Emergency Department unit

13-week contract assignment
-
Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
-
Uses Epic EMR for charting
-
Active TX or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required

Current AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
-
Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start

Must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
-
Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions
-
Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
-
Carry out physician and nursing orders

Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team

Navy scrubs required

Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced pay rate depending on distance from the facility
