Aerostar Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Quality Lab Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our Quality Laboratory in Romulus, Michigan.

What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Quality Laboratory.
- Supervise CMM Programmers, Quality Lab Technicians, and inspection personnel.
- Oversee dimensional inspections supporting production, engineering, suppliers, customers, and new product launches.
- Manage calibration systems, gage control, and measurement system integrity.
- Support APQP, PPAP, First Article Inspection (AS9102), capability studies, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, AS9100D, customer-specific, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance laboratory efficiency, inspection throughput, and overall quality performance.
What We're Looking For
* 10+ years of experience in Quality, Metrology, and Manufacturing
* 5+ years of supervisory experience in a metrology or quality laboratory
* 8+ years of advanced dimensional inspection experience
* Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5), APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and Gage R&R
* Experience with IATF 16949, AS9100D, and AS9102 quality standards
* Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field, or 10+ years of progressive experience in Quality Laboratory, Metrology, and CMM functions.
- ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQT, Certified Calibration Technician (CCT), or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus.
