Machinist II:
Responsibility: Perform all duties of a Jr. Machinist, ideally with 1-3 years’ experience, work in support of the Department Supervisor. Complete prep work and basic housing creation. In special cases, may also serve as a Team Leader for product group support work as assigned.
Specific Duties:
1. Operate Lathe Machine
2. Read blueprints and build housing for new job orders.
3. Prep and cast housing as assigned.
4. Setup and operate single or multiple production machines for the process of manufacturing products.
5. Tap, drill, and ream holes to close tolerance.
6. File and drill parts as needed.
7. Record time and sign travelers.
Qualifications:
-Pay rate will be based on experience.
-This position is part time at 20 hours per week.
-5 PTO days are given upon hire.
-Good English verbal and written communication skills.
-U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required.
-Position is in-person and part time (20 hours/week) with opportunities for overtime.
