Clay Property Management, a leading multifamily property management company, is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our properties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property management.
- Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Handle minor carpentry tasks, such as repairing doors, windows, and cabinets.
- Ensure common areas, such as hallways and grounds, are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- EPA certification plus one of HVAC Type 1 or 2 certification
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
