Profile of a Mosaic Instructor
Education Without Erasure | Full Personhood Wellness | Christ-Honoring Culture
At Mosaic, we entrust our mission to educators who view teaching as a profound act of stewardship, justice, and discipleship rooted in 2 Timothy 1:7. We are looking for deeply competent, spiritually grounded professionals ready to help us build a new architecture for education.
Who You Are: The Thrive 360 Alignment
We ask our faculty model the exact holistic wellness we desire for our learners:
- Power (Advocacy & Accountability): You calmly assert boundaries, proactively disrupt inequities, and model vulnerability by owning your mistakes.
- Love (Relational Alignment): You correct behavior without shaming, practice active listening, and always initiate restorative repair after disciplinary moments.
- Sound Mind (Composure): You de-escalate friction and manage peer to peer and peer to instructor confrontations with grace and authority.
- Wellness (Stewardship): You honor your own boundaries, stress management, and mental health—refusing to martyr yourself at the expense of your well-being.
What You Do: The Classroom Experience
Mosaic instructors provide a concrete reference point for our highly personalized pedagogy across all disciplines.
- Culturally Sustaining Stewards: You ensure every student is known, named, nurtured, and loved, centering their identity and honoring their story.
- Subject Matter Authorities: You lead from a place of verified competence in your chosen subjects, integrating your instruction with seamless digital agility.
- Restorative Peacekeepers: You balance high support with accountability. You prioritize the restoration of our village, delivering direct, uncompromising, and transformational counsel rooted in love.
- Drivers of High-Quality Work: You reject high-stakes testing that fuels anxiety. Instead, you use portfolio and growth data to elevate the ceiling, driving each student toward their highest and best.
