Small Assisted Living Facility (16 resident max) is looking for a multi-talented team member to join our diverse team.
If you have a heart to serve and you are good at what you do, you'll love being part of our hard working team.
Looking for candidates that are flexible for day/night shift, part/full time, able to do caregiving as well as activities and kitchen masters are highly recommended.
Responsibilities
- Support the dietary department by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly to ensure timely service
- Help plan menus that meet nutritional guidelines and accommodate special dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of food handling and safety protocols throughout all stages of food service
- Assist with catering events, ensuring proper setup, serving, and cleanup to deliver memorable dining experiences
- Contribute to kitchen operations by organizing supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld
- Serve meals to residents or guests with professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail
- Follow all food industry regulations and safety procedures to promote a safe and hygienic environment
Skills
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments enhances your ability to deliver quality service
- Proficiency in food handling, knife skills, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced kitchen settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
- Knowledge of catering procedures and the ability to adapt to various food service scenarios
