The Quick Serve Team Member is an key position within Dining Services. This position will work within Abel Dining Center, which is one of the quick serve made to order concepts that relies on the mobile ordering platform for orders.
As a Quick Serve Team Member you will:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform all back of the house kitchen duties, including ingredient and food preparation, inventory, cooking and assembling orders, setting up and closing down stations, recipe preparation, dish machine operations and cleaning.
- Build orders based on established processes, procedures, guidelines and recipes.
- Monitor food quality, food presentation and control food waste.
- Assist within other areas as needed and other duties assigned.
This position is considered essential and may have weekend or evening shifts.

Minimum Required Qualifications
High School education plus one year of experience in a work environment required; equivalency considered. Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary. Flexibility, ability to communicate and being a team player essential. Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
