1. Perform medication pass as needed.
2. Address medication-related issues: medication reordering, discontinuing medication, new meds, interact with pharmacy regarding any med related questions or issues.
3. Assist RN’s in managing ill residents and all emergencies.
4. Perform monthly wellness checks, including vitals, weight, and change in physical, mental or medication status under the supervision of DON.
5. Assist DON in performing appropriate nursing tasks such as injections (SQ, IM), wound care, oxygen equipment maintenance and any other nursing tasks requested by DON.
6. Ensure and track yearly physicals and PPD’s for each resident.
7. Track immunizations and document for each resident.
8. Chart maintenance, nursing notes, nursing reports as required.
9. Document incidents appropriately and report to DON.
10. Assist DON with scheduling and assignments as requested.
11. Interact and communicate with outside providers (hospitals, agencies, doctors, etc.) as well as Resident family members.
12. If requested, inventory and order nursing supplies.
13. Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
