Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer in the Express Service Department! Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Clearly communicate recommended repairs and maintenance services, including oil changes, tire service, brake repair, transmission work, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Prepare accurate auto estimates using dealership management systems and explain repair options transparently
- Upsell additional services by highlighting vehicle benefits and maintenance plans to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed service records and documentation
- Promote automotive diagnostics expertise to identify issues efficiently and recommend appropriate solutions
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or auto service management experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic or service technician background
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, auto estimating, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Proven ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Knowledge of a wide range of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake systems, air brakes, and auto body repair
- Experience with auto sales processes and cash handling is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Pay: $54,385.15 - $65,496.09 per year
