Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshooting and repair of Gilbarco fueling systems
- Troubleshooting and repair of POS terminals
- Troubleshooting and repair of electronic tank monitors
- Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical flow meters
- Troubleshooting and repair of gasoline dispensing units
- Staying up to date on certifications
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and other petroleum service technician duties
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A qualified employee must
be able to operate company service van safely and efficiently with a concentrated effort to maintain a very respectable driving record
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required
College or University education preferred
- Preferred 2 -3 years in Gas & Petroleum industry
- Proven work experience as a service technician
- Proven work experience in Gas & Petroleum industry
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Handling physical exertion conditions is required

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory checks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to fuel handling is advantageous but not mandatory
