Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and bilingual (Spanish/English) Labeling Lead to join our team at a wholesale manufacturer of fresh cotton candy and gourmet popcorn. In this role, you will oversee a team of 2–5 employees responsible for labeling product tubs, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and company procedures. The Labeling Lead will also actively participate in the labeling process and help maintain production efficiency and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a production or manufacturing environment and possess knowledge of labeling equipment or production machinery. Experience operating or troubleshooting labeling machines is highly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential to successfully manage the team and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Helping set up the labeling area
- Checking that the correct labels and product are being used
- Watching for label issues during production
- Helping keep the line moving
- Helping train or guide employees on the line
- Keeping the area clean and organized
- Reporting any machine, label, or product issues right away
- Following safety, GMP, and food safety rules
- Helping keep track of finished counts
Pay: $22.00 per hour
