Five Star Bath Solutions of Northern Virginia is looking for a reliable, skilled Remodeling Technician to join our growing residential remodeling team.
This is a hands-on field position for someone with residential remodeling experience who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in quality work. You will work alongside our project managers and lead installers on bathroom remodeling projects throughout Northern Virginia.
This is NOT a general laborer position.
We are looking for someone with a real trade skill — such as drywall, painting, carpentry, or remodeling — who can also handle demolition and general jobsite work.
Responsibilities
- Perform bathroom demolition on a weekly basis
- Remove tile, drywall, flooring, vanities, fixtures, tubs and other materials
- Safely prepare and protect customers' homes during demolition
- Load and dispose of construction debris
- Assist lead installers with bathroom remodeling projects
- Perform drywall hanging, patching, taping and finishing
- Painting and paint touch-ups
- Caulking and finish work
- Minor framing and carpentry
- Trim and baseboard work
- Complete punch-list and warranty work
- Assist with jobsite preparation and cleanup
- Load, unload and move materials
- Pick up materials or supplies when needed
- Help keep jobsites clean, organized and professional
- Assist with general jobsite coordination and project completion
Qualifications
- Residential remodeling experience required
- Strong drywall, painting, carpentry or finish-work skills preferred
- Comfortable performing demolition
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable
- Professional appearance and attitude when working in customers' homes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working throughout Northern Virginia
- Must take pride in workmanship and leave a clean, professional jobsite
Compensation
$30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
Full-time, year-round position with consistent work.

- Drywall finisher who can also do demo

You don't need to be an expert at everything. We are particularly interested in someone who is highly skilled in one or two areas and is comfortable learning and helping with the rest of the remodeling process.
