Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure excellent customer service and build lasting relationships.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing payments efficiently and securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beers, wines, and bar supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume settings; hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while multitasking across multiple responsibilities.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing inventory counts.
- Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is preferred.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
